In the Winter Semester 2026/27 I am teaching Mathematical Modeling of Materials [MA9805] at TUM.

This Master's module (5 ECTS) is a required course in the M.Sc. Materials Science and Engineering and an elective in Mathematics in Science and Engineering.

I supervise semester projects as well as Bachelor's and Master's theses on topics related to my research, in particular the numerical analysis of electronic structure methods, eigenvalue problems, and quantum algorithms. Some background in numerical analysis or the analysis of PDEs is helpful; programming experience is useful for more computational projects.
